吳懷世 藝術總監

吳懷世現任倫敦愛樂樂團新任指揮合作夥伴(Fellow Conductor),並榮獲荷蘭廣播愛樂樂團「艾度·迪瓦特助理指揮獎」(Edo de Waart Assistant Conductorship)。他是一位極具表現力與溝通力的指揮家,致力以富有創意與革新的方式,與當代及未來的聽眾建立聯繫。

2025–26樂季的重要亮點包括:於倫敦皇家節日音樂廳與阿姆斯特丹皇家音樂廳首次登場演出;與聖馬丁室內樂團(Academy of St. Martin in the Fields)及鋼琴家林允燦 (Yunchan Lim) 的巡演;以及與法國史特拉斯堡愛樂樂團的首次合作。

吳懷世出生於香港,中學後於歐洲接受教育。他曾於德國班貝格馬勒指揮大賽法蘭克福喬治·索爾蒂指揮大賽以及法國巴黎斯維特拉諾夫指揮大賽中獲獎,並曾擔任首爾愛樂樂團歷來最年輕的副指揮。自2023年起,他出任韓經Arte愛樂樂團首席客席指揮,亦是KBS交響樂團、韓國國家交響樂團等多個韓國主要樂團的常客。他與香港管弦樂團保持緊密合作,指揮其樂季音樂會及全港最大型戶外音樂活動太古「港樂·星夜·交響曲」。

他近期的重要演出包括與以下樂團合作:倫敦愛樂樂團、荷蘭廣播愛樂樂團、德國杜塞爾多夫交響樂團、瑞士洛桑室內樂團、日本札幌交響樂團、卡塔爾愛樂樂團、土耳其總統交響樂團、中國國家大劇院管弦樂團,以及法國圖盧茲國立首都管弦樂團。他曾與曼陀林演奏家朱利安·馬蒂諾(Julien Martineau)合作錄製專輯,由法國 Naïve 唱片公司發行。他亦與多位國際藝術家合作,包括維京格·奧拉夫森(Víkingur Ólafsson)、曹秀美(Sumi Jo)、穆洛娃(Viktoria Mullova)、劉曉禹(Bruce Liu)、柳愛莎(Esther Yoo)及林允燦等。

雖然對西方古典曲目瞭若指掌,吳懷世同時亦是亞洲作曲家的堅定支持者。2025年,他創立了亞洲現代交響樂團,匯聚亞洲頂尖音樂家,致力呈現本地區作曲家的傑作。該團將於2025年夏季展開中國及韓國首輪巡演。他曾於2019年指揮北京現代音樂節開幕音樂會,並於2023、2024及2025年連續擔任該音樂節開幕與閉幕演出的指揮。2024年,他亦擔任第七屆國家大劇院青年作曲家計劃終評音樂會的指揮,持續推動亞洲年輕作曲家的發展。

2015年,吳懷世於香港創辦馬勒樂團(Gustav Mahler Orchestra),推出「無界音樂家」(Musicians without Borders)計劃,邀請觀眾親身走入樂團內部,體驗沉浸式音樂現場。他亦共同創辦「aboutMusic基金會」,為香港基層學生提供免費、具國際水準的音樂教育。他現為香港中文大學(深圳)音樂學院藝術顧問委員會成員。

Wilson Ng Artistic Director

Newly named Fellow Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and recipient of the Edo de Waart Assistant Conductorship with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Wilson Ng is a talented communicator, dedicated to finding creative and innovative ways to engage with current and future audiences. Highlights in the 2025–26 season include debuts at London’s Royal Festival Hall, Amsterdam’s Royal Concertgebouw, a tour with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields featuring Yunchan Lim, and a debut with Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg.

Born in Hong Kong and educated in Europe from a young age, Wilson is a prizewinner at the Mahler Competition in Bamberg, the Sir Georg Solti International Conductors' Competition in Frankfurt, and the Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition in Paris. He was also the youngest-ever Associate Conductor of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.

Principal Guest Conductor of the Hankyung Arte Philharmonic since 2023, Wilson is a regular guest with other major Korean ensembles, including the KBS Symphony Orchestra and the Korean National Symphony Orchestra. A frequent guest conductor with the Hong Kong Philharmonic, he has led subscription concerts and the city’s largest outdoor musical event, Symphony Under the Stars.

Other recent highlights include performances with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Düsseldorf Symphoniker, Orchestre de chambre de Lausanne, Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, Presidential Symphony Orchestra of Turkey, China NCPA Orchestra, and Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, with whom he recorded alongside mandolinist Julien Martineau under the French label Naïve. He has collaborated with artists such as Viktoria Mullova, Sumi Jo, Víkingur Ólafsson, Bruce Liu, Esther Yoo and Yunchan Lim.

Although deeply familiar with the traditional Western canon, Wilson is a passionate champion of Asian composers. In 2025, he founded the Asian Modern Symphony Orchestra, which unites Asia’s finest musicians in celebration of masterpieces by composers of the region. The orchestra will start their first tour in China and Korea in summer of 2025. He conducted the opening concert of the Beijing Modern Music Festival in 2019, and since then, returned to the festival regularly to lead opening and closing performances in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Committed to supporting the next generation of composers in Asia, he conducted the 7th NCPA Young Composer Programme Final Evaluation Concert in 2024.

In 2015 Wilson launched the Gustav Mahler Orchestra in Hong Kong, initiating Musicians without Borders, an innovative project inviting audiences to participate in an immersive experience sitting among orchestra musicians. He also co-founded aboutMusic Foundation, aiming to provide a free international-level music education for underprivileged students in Hong Kong. He is a member of the Artistic Advisory Board of School of Music, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
